LAKE FORBES

Public BBQ

Lake Forbes serves Forbes primary recreation hub combining waterfront leisure with practical family amenities. Lake edge features picnic facilities with undercover tables and clean public toilets throughout grounds. Standout feature: water park drawing families year-round. Splash area caters children all ages from toddlers to older kids though shade over water features remains conspicuously absent during summer. Park sprawls larger than expected with walking paths tracing shoreline and fishing spots dotting banks. Picnic tables and BBQ facilities sit under shelter, practical touch given inland NSW climate. Setting maintains peaceful atmosphere despite being well-equipped. Water play, picnic infrastructure, and lake access combination creates functional community gathering point. While not wilderness, Lake Forbes delivers accessible outdoor recreation with proper facilities which in regional NSW counts for quite a bit.
